Normal surgeries run on an open access system. No appointments are needed for general surgeries to see the Doctor, Practice Nurse or Health Care Assistant. On arrival, you can express a preference of practitioner or nurse.
Specialist clinics are run on an appointment basis. Currently you are only able to book on-line appointments for Asthma and Well Woman Clinics. We are in the process of setting up other specialist clinics appointments on-line.
We are a University Teaching Practice, and currently have First Year Students from the University of Swansea School of Medicine. Nurse students are also attached to this practice.
We will always ask your permission for a student to be present during your consultation.
The practice is committed to providing a safe, comfortable environment where patients and staff can be confident that best practice is being followed at all times and the safety of everyone is of paramount importance. If you would like a chaperone during your consultation, please ask the doctor. A Nurse or Health Care Assistant will usually be your chaperone, but on rare occasions a Receptionist will be asked to chaperone if the Nurse of Health Care Assistant is not available.
Please call the surgery on the number above.
